الْوَاسِعُ
The All-Encompassing
His knowledge, mercy and power encompass everything.
Verses where the name Al-Wasi' appears:
وَلِلَّهِ ٱلْمَشْرِقُ وَٱلْمَغْرِبُ ۚ فَأَيْنَمَا تُوَلُّوا۟ فَثَمَّ وَجْهُ ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَٰسِعٌ عَلِيمٌۭ ﴿١١٥﴾
Unto Allah belong the East and the West, and whithersoever ye turn, there is Allah's Countenance. Lo! Allah is All-Embracing, All-Knowing.
Al-Wasi' (الْوَاسِعُ) means “The All-Encompassing”. It is the 45th name in the well-known list of the 99 Names of Allah.
It is written الْوَاسِعُ.
